Panera

Panera approached Brand Bureau to redesign one of their cafes in the hopes to scale throughout all their locations. After slowly dissecting the brand, we developed a new strategy rooted in a modern yet familiar ethos that exuded the comfort of a mother's kitchen. After revising a new sans-serif logotype for them, we developed a colorful palette paired with various patterns inspired by vintage cook books. We then developed custom illustrations for seasonal specials in an effort to pivot away from stock imagery. For the menu, we created untraditional boards (made from baking accessories) to showcase the cafe's fresh and clean ingredients.
